Annual revision 2017 of the Leibstadt Nuclear Power plant (Switzerland)

The Leibstadt nuclear power plant in Switzerland was stopped for approximately seven weeks as part of its annual review.

It is planned to replace 76 of the 648 fuel elements of the reactor, said Monday the management of the plant. Maintenance and control of the facilities and systems are also planned.

The 500 KKL employees will be supported by some 1,600 external specialists during the revision. The technicians of the Company Forteb will be present to carry out maintenance work on the HCU. (Hydraulic Control Unit)
